If it were possible for me to remember that Ib ever existed, I would go back and rescue her. I wish Mary can come too without erasing another's existence. No one should ever live a life all alone like that.
Lol hell yeah!! Jk. Well no but Mary been living by herself when she was created and just wanted to live a life of a normal person. If it had to come to killing a person to let another take over than hell no but in the game I wish there was another way to avoid such a thing.
I know right, I hated that sassy Gary. Joking! Joking!
Sadly there really isn't another way. A lot of people wished there was, but that isn't the case. All in all, Mary really is a sad character. Even though she wasn't real, and she knew she wasn't real, all she wanted was to experience a single lifetime outside of the paintings. In a world where people looked at her, and knew of her. In a world in which all she knew about it were stories she heard from others outside her painting. A world she was so curious for she would take a life just to have even a day to spend. All in all, what she truly wanted more than anything, was a friend.
When you put it that way, when all she wanted the most was "A friend" which is true, just makes me feel even more depressed. Which reminds me of something. There was a fanmade youtube video about the after math when Ib and Gary escaped from the "Other world". The video was very good and (if you haven't seen it then this is a small spoiler) near the end of the video, Ib and Gary met again and I think Ib was now 17 or 18 years old and they painted Mary together to show that they never forgot her. It just gave me a tear to my eye. I can show you a link of it if you want.
